I love owls and our business started out as custom wood furniture. My husband took the two concepts and proposed our business name - Wise Old Owl Designs (acronym is WOOD)…

We wish everyone could do what they love for a living. The creation of our business was happenstance - Ryan was presented with the opportunity to turn a hobby, a passion, an escape into a thriving business.  When this door was opened, we made certain to push the door wide open and embraced the gift. Ever since we have not looked back, and have never been happier. 

It all started with hand crafted, custom wood furniture. Then at the end of 2018, we purchased a Cricut to make custom router templates and expand in our wood design capabilities. Little did we know that this would spark a creative side in Jessica would allow her to embrace her own passions. While Ryan focused on the molding of wood and metal, Jessica concentrated on crafting customized t-shirts and tumblers. 2021 was a big year for the owl – a laser cutter and engraving machine joined the WOOD tool family; and our sister company, She Shirts and More, was formed between two friends with a passion for all things crafty, and a propensity for an unconventional sort of humor. Customized t-shirts, wood and acrylic projects are just the beginning. We are beyond excited to see where this journey will take us.
