Return Policy

We hope you never need this information but in life, things happen and we will do what we can to make it right. Here's a bit of information to help guide you through the return process.

Cancellation:

 You may only cancel an order within the first 24 hours after your purchase has gone through. This is because we have likely already begun working on your order. Upon cancelling, email Jessica@WiseOldOwlDesigns.com with your name, order number, and why you are cancelling.

 There is a cancellation fee 5% of the order value. Credit card processors do not refund the credit card payment processing fees they charge companies like ours when a customer places an order if the customer decides to cancel for any reason. The cancellation fee is to cover these charges.

 Cancellations will not be accepted once a project has been started.

 Returns:

 All sales are final. Due to the nature of custom designs, we can not accept returns or exchanges of any items unless there is a misprint, material flaw, or defect.

 Please inspect your order upon receipt and let us know within 48 hours of delivery if anything is incorrect, missing, or damaged at arrival. Please email us at Jessica@WiseOldOwlDesigns.com or use the contact form on our website. Please include pictures of the item/s and packaging received. Damaged or incorrect item/s must be returned within 15 days of receipt of purchase. Your correct items will be shipped out once the item/s in question have been received.

 Wise Old Owl Designs, Inc. is not liable and will not be held accountable for any lost or stolen items from USPS, UPS, or other shipping carrier.

 Every item is well packed in bubble wrap and/ or packing paper and secured in a corrugated box to ensure your product will get to you safely and undamaged. We understand that sometimes mistakes happen with package delivery systems. Please contact the carrier directly to file a claim if packaging is received damaged due to mishandling and/ or weather.

 Refunds will not be offered unless we are unable to replace the damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing item/s. Should this be the case, we will notify you once we have received and inspected the returned product and let you know if the refund has been approved. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method or offered as store credit. Please remember that it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refunded amount.

 Store credit will expire one year from date it’s issued.

 If it is determined that the returned item received does not qualify for replacement or refund, you will be responsible for the returned shipping. We will hold non-returnable merchandise for 10 days. After 10 days, the items will be donated.

 Notes on Apparel:

 For apparel, please note that sizing can vary between manufacturers and styles. We cannot be responsible for the purchase of incorrect sizes and will not be able to accept returns for this reason once the garments are custom printed. Please follow the care instructions included with your custom printed order.

 All orders are subject to shirt color availability, If a shirt is not available, we will notify you and give the option of a refund or color change. Confirmation from you in written form about any color change will be required prior to the start of order processing.

 If your items are misprinted, materially flawed, or defective in any way, please contact us at Jessica@WiseOldOwlDesigns.com within 48 hours from receipt of merchandise and we will be happy to arrange for a reprint, or store credit. Please provide your order number with all correspondence. Returns for exchange or store credit: must be made within 14 days of receipt of purchase. Once the misprinted, materially flawed, or defective item has been received your corrected item will be shipped out.

 Returned items will not be accepted if the damages are due to wear and tear and/ or improper unpackaging by the buyer. Please be mindful of package contents when opening. Please read the care instructions for your item and care for the properly.

*Apparel Care Instructions*

- Wash dark colors separately with cold water and a mild detergent.

- Turn garment inside out for washing.

- No bleach OR fabric softener.

- Do NOT dry clean or tumble dry.

- Lay flat or hang garment to dry.

- Do NOT iron directly on the design.

- Any press lines from custom print application should wash out during first launder.

 *Important*

Photos are mock ups of the actual item; and all items are custom made at the time of order. Product coloring and patterns will vary slightly. Graphic colors may vary slightly due to photography lenses, lighting and computer monitor resolutions. These situations to not qualify as product defects.

 No decorations or accessories pictured are included unless specifically stated in the product description.

Shipping Policy and Disclaimer

Shipping:

Due to current volume and demand, production times vary according to item. In stock items will ship within 3-5 business days. Production times for out of stock items is noted in the listing description. Custom items can take 3-4 weeks for production. Please contact us prior to or immediately following placing your order if a rush order is being requested. Additional charges may apply for rushed orders.

 We totally understand that many of our customers buy products for time sensitive holidays or events and need orders received as quickly as possible. Our goal is to maintain open communication throughout the production process. Once your item/s ship, you will receive communication with Tracking with Delivery Confirmation to the email or phone number provided at checkout. 

 Business days do not include weekends, holidays or shop vacation. Dates for shop vacations will be posted on both the website home page and social media platforms.

Please be aware that shipping times can be longer due to severe weather and around the holidays. Contact us prior to, or immediately following placing your order with questions and/ or if a rush order is being requested.

Production time begins the following business day after your order is placed.

ORDER CHANGES

For any changes to your order, please contact us ASAP so we can make the necessary adjustments! Once production of a custom item has been started, we are unable to make changes.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Production times do not include the shipping timeframe, as shipping time varies based on your location, staffing shortages, and weather. Historically, delivery times usually take 5-10 business days. If you are ordering from Canada, please expect longer delivery times.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages:

 We are responsible for your purchase until it reaches the Post Office. Once your package is scanned in by USPS or UPS, it is no longer the responsibility of Wise Old Owl Designs. If your tracking information confirms that the item has been delivered to your order address, but you have not received your order, please contact the carrier directly to investigate this issue. We cannot be held accountable for packages where tracking information states the package has been delivered to your order address. We will not refund, remake, or credit your account for any order lost or damaged by USPS or UPS.

 Wise Old Owl Designs now offers ROUTE shipping insurance on all orders. Route covers basically Any and all shipping mishaps – perpetually stuck, mis-delivered, stolen, lost, or damaged packages 100%. Should your order not arrive, or arrives with the packaging obviously damaged – you can choose a refund or replacement order by making a claim directly via the Route website. We encourage to download their app to see ‘real time’ delivery notifications, and claims status where applicable. For orders under $99, it’s only $0.98 cents to insure your order. Insurance on orders over $100 will be charged 1.5% of your total. Should you choose to decline coverage, Wise Old Owl Designs can not hep in recovering or replacing lost, stolen, or damaged orders.

 All shipments from Wise Old Owl Designs are shipped by USPS or UPS and insured at the base level (up to $75 value) through USPS to protect against loss or damage during shipping. If you would like to add additional shipping insurance to your product, please contact us prior to placing your order so that we can send an invoice. In the case that your shipment is lost or damaged in transit; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO FILE THE CLAIM WITH USPS WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PACKAGES DURING TRANSIT! WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES ONCE THERE IS A DELIVERY CONFIRMATION. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPMENTS SENT TO FORWARDING SERVICES OR COMPANIES. IF YOU PLACE AN ORDER AND YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS IS A FORWARDING ADDRESS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING YOUR FORWARDING COMPANY OR SERVICE TO LOCATE YOUR SHIPMENT. TRACKING ISN'T UPDATING
If your package seems stalled, stuck, or tracking has stopped updating, please try signing up for text or email notifications. This can usually spark movement if your package is stuck somewhere.

Wise Old Owl Designs is not responsible for any customs fees, border fees, or extra shipping charges incurred for deliveries outside of the continental United States.

LOCAL PICKUP

We do offer pickup (just choose this option at checkout)! Just place your order and when it's ready for pickup, you'll get an email letting you know! Pick up hours and location will be included in the email.

Local pickup orders will be held for 14 days. If orders are not picked up within the 14 days, you will receive an invoice for shipping so that we may send your order to the address on file. If the invoice is not paid within 48 hours, your sale will be cancelled, the items will be returned to stock, and you will be issued a store credit.

If you are requesting local pickup, please change it on your order/ invoice prior to paying. If you need assistance with this, please email or message us through our business social media accounts. If you pay shipping, we can not refund you after the fact for local pickup.

Any non-local customer who chooses ‘local pickup’ will be sent a shipping invoice. Items will not be shipped until the shipping invoice is paid.

INCORRECT ADDRESS DISCLAIMER

 It is the buyer's responsibility to enter the correct address at checkout.  Wise Old Owl Designs is not responsible for packages that are not delivered due to incorrect or undeliverable shipping addresses.  If returned to us the buyer must pay shipping costs. Shipping costs need paid within 7 days of return or your order will be forfeited with no refund, store credit or exchange. If you notice the address is incorrect, please contact us with the correct address as soon as you place your order. We will do our best to make the change; however, if the order has already been processed we are unable to make the change.
